For anyone who finds walking up to strangers hard, and that's more of us than admit it. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room. You need one real reason to start.
Find the thing you have in common before you open your mouth. Same industry, same hometown, same problem. Lead with that and the conversation has somewhere to go immediately.
Shy isn't a disqualifier. Winging it is. Walk in knowing your opener and the nerves get a lot smaller.
